When we hired Scott he didn't have a defensive coordinator until December 22nd and didn't have an offensive coordinator until December 23rd.

The sense of urgency under Golesh to already have so many offers going out and guys being hired within 48 hours of him being announced is nice to see.

Yes, he sounds like he has his stuff together.  When he spoke at his press conference yesterday he said his staff was all ready assessing team needs.  I think when he gets back from the awards ceremony, he'll be hitting the recruiting trail / transfer portal for areas of need.  Definitely a head-start from where Scott was.

found this in comparison. After Scott was introduced he spent a few days talking to donors and business then went back to Clemson to prep for the playoffs.

I can think of another reason why he might only be in Tampa for a few years.

I think he always treated it as a long term rebuild. there was never any sense of urgency to win. always had excuses.

You sense urgency definitely more from Golesh and I like that.
