Mcall only has one year left. So if BB has to sit one year as a true back up thats okay with me.

Mcall would go to a p5 rather than follow him to another g6 that is rebuilding. I wouldnt be worried about that. I'll take this guy though -

You may want that, but does BB want that.

In this day of the transfer portal, no one that is good enough to start has to sit, even one year.  If you are good enough to start, you can transfer somewhere and play immediately.

So while it may benefit USF and fans for BB to sit a year, he does not have to sit a year.  He can play somewhere immediately and start.

This hire needs to be done with Byrum Brown being the biggest consideration. We need to be going for a guy who will look to build around him and his strengths, and assuming McCall goes to the NFL or an ACC/SEC school Chadwell seems to maybe be that kind of guy.

I think Byrum Brown would flourish in an offense similar to Coastal Carolina's as would Battie.

I, like everyone, allowed myself to get somewhat excited about the idea of Deion Sanders possibly being our coach but I don't really think that was ever realistic.
