Not very scientific, but it seems that other teams go on "runs" where they score unanswered points for 8+ minutes, and we never do.  Those are difficult to overcome.

Well, someone's gotta be the tree and someone's gotta by the dog.  Weren't we talking about getting Peay'd on?

I watched like 2 minutes of Gregory's presser.  He started out how he told the team the Peay was going to be a very good team this season for various reasons.  OK maybe they are and maybe they are not. Wish a reporter would have the balls and ask, "so is they are a very good basketball team, why isn't USF with tons of more resources"

Unfortunately until USF can find someone who can COACH in both football and basketball this will be Their results.

Talent is not the issue Coaching is the issue. Watch USFWB than watch USFMB. The difference in the offensive end is glaring. I’m trying to remember when The mens team set up their 3 point shooters for in rythem  shots. Their offense seems to be score by accident.

it’s hard watching it’s like déjà vu all over again.

I do appreciate the jacket choice though.

Two thoughts I shared while watching.

To the latter, you can add the Miguel three attempt clanging off the rim at a time towards the end where it was the last shot we needed to take

And Chaplin’s turnover.

I think it's probably been since DoJo that we had a player whose hands we could put the ball in and have a positive expected outcome.  Maybe I'm wrong...

Yep, DoJo. I think Rideau could have been that guy, but Gregory ALWAYS put the ball in Collins’ hands at crunch time and he rarely delivered - I think he forced OT with a 3 one year at Tulsa and was great down the stretch against DePaul in the CBI, but all of the other times ended with clanks.

There was a time when I had hopes and dreams for USF's MBB coaching success, but that was before Don Williams hit it big with Tulsa Time and Phil Collins joined Genesis...

Was seeking an alternative viewpoint that would provide a unique perspective unlike the groupthink discussion we are having.  Furthermore we are boys giving each other a little tit for tat but understood and would assume he has blocked me anyways, point taken.

Nothing wrong with a little tit for tat but when tat starts making up **** that tit said, tit's tapping out ..... so tata for now.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
