Daily Stampede also had Scott at #2 behind Elliot and not to mention Joey Knight correctly predicted Scott on the radio day/s(?) before it was official. 

Idk can’t see a random dark horse getting this job out of the blue whose name hasn’t already be thrown around somehow.

Probably the lack of any real attractive candidates.  Tom Herman, boring.  Gary Patterson, too old.  Dude from FAU, bad optics (being from FAU, not the other), Jon Gruden, no. With Biff Poggi gone and Jim Leavitt and Deion Sanders unattainable, MK is probably left to a late Friday announcement of a guy real close to Biff that excites no one.
