This could potentially be an elaborate prank

It could be solved so easy win or resign...

Who would be the interim coach?  From our staff?  So we would have fewer resources?

It's going to be hard to choose between him, Urban Meyer, or Deion Sanders 😆

Ha, this program is so far beneath them.

Hell, Jackson State would roll this team. Deion wouldn't leave a solid program he built for this ******** $how

Or even crazier idea, go back to D2.

For the record, we were never D2.

Da Prato seems have some competence. I don't hate trickett either.

legit question.

we are going NOWHERE with this guy.

the longer hes “”””coaching”””” this team the more we delay the inevitable rebuild.

its incredible that the Athletics Department compounded its mistake of firing Leavitt by hiring successively worse coaches.

please get this guy out of here… or do us a favor & shut down the program until we’re ready to field a serious team.

literally EVERY small podunk school in a podunk conference has had its moment in the sun while USF has been hot trash for what feels like a decade with a couple decent seasons of Q in between. smh.

I think the honest answer to your question is financial. Schools normally fire coaches early because they can afford to replace them. Jeff Scott is getting paid whether he is here or not. If he is not here, do we have the money to pay him for another year and another head coach? If the answer is 'No' then you have to keep him and hope he can salvage a recruiting class. If you fire him and you don't have anybody to replace him, I can't imagine anyone wanting to come here to play until it's sorted out.

USF has made amazing progress academically over the last decade plus, but can’t seem to get out of its own way in regards to athletics. Seems like USF Athletics makes the wrong choice at every turn. Kelly giving CJS a contract extension being one of those poor choices. Firing him makes us look even dumber, but so does keeping him around.
