Watch the offense turn around when Weaver, Horn, and Ajou are back. UL loaded the box, blitzed, & dared our QBs to throw. Only OD could get open,  but he can't catch.

A very good point. Our starting “weapons” were not out there to make a difference in the passing game and it showed very early.

Members of this board knew that was a possibility based on reactions once news came out that Weaver and Horn were out today along with Ajou. However, that doesn’t absolve the team for how lethargic they performed overall though.

Our WR's beyond Weaver and Horn (haven't seen enough of Ajou), are beyond terrible.  At best, FCS caliber receivers.  Yeah Bohanon was trying to force things but what option did he have.  No one was open.  It's either that or eat the ball and take sacks.  Those literally were his options.  Go back and rewatch.  No one was open the entire first half other than Butterfingers Dollison.

I mean 5 touching over a season is an upgrade over zero touchdowns in 3.5 GAMES  and 4 interceptions. That is a pretty low standard when they say excellence is the standard.

Again, he quit.  Should have stuck it out and won the job.  Plus we can compare stats at the end of the season instead of 4 games in and 3 against teams much, much better than us.  Of course it doesn't look like much of an upgrade right now, but that kind of tells how bad timmy looked ......

He's had some bad throws like the INT before I shut off the TV.  I gotta hand it to the receivers though with the drops.  If he had a rhythm going and could move and throw and complete passes, I am sure it would go a lot better.

Yikes.  Bad throws to receivers who don't run the right routes and can't catch is not a formula for success on offense. Used to be you had to run to set up the throws.  Now you have to throw to set up the running game.

Consistently.  Do we not have TEs that can catch?  He can hit those little slant throws.
