The only bad part is our back up cant run the same offense. Katravis isnt running anywhere.

But he might actually pass better.

I thought he looked pretty good in spring game, Better than Timmy passing.

Really well called by Coach Trickett. How about that misdirection pitch to Battie on 4th down in the first half that broke him loose? Brilliant call. And the 2-point conversion? We haven’t seen creativity like that in a long time - if ever.

I told my buddy while we were watching the game, I absolutely love the balls going for it on 4th and 2 on our side of the field, and the playcall was awesome. And the 2 point conversion play was 🤌

I feel like Trickett had an excellent game plan coming into this one. Gerry was clearly off throwing the ball, and had he hit even a few of the passes that he missed on, we'd have probably won and possibly by more than one score. They had no answer for what we were doing for most of the night. I just hope this wasn't an "empty the bag of tricks for the big P5 game" and we go back to being more conservative after this.

...and Jimmy Horn Jr had zero touches.   Just imagine when we get him back healthy.

I think the offense worked because they had to worry about the RB and the QB.   Mangham was too slow and Battie was the difference maker.

We do have new coordinators on both sides of the ball and a QB that wasn't there all spring while they were installing the playbook.

Would make sense that it might take a couple weeks for them to figure our what works and what doesn't and who they can trust to execute what. Haven't been excited for a game like this Louisville game in a while. Can't wait to see if the improvement is real
