How long before we see renderings? I would think that would have been part of the quoting process.

I’ve been one of the strongest advocates for an OCS however if they don’t have some super secret handshake agreement from the B12 or ACC then there’s no need to spend 300 million to see the likes of N Texas or Charlotte.

Totally agree. Play the games at Corbett and those who still care can watch from the berms.

I understand your feelings, but the bigger picture is more than a place to play football. Remember, an OCS impacts current students experiences and alumni’s connection to the school. Traditions help foster school pride and an enlarged donor ship; the OCS is an investment of the future of the school itself, not just sports.

I totally get all of that and I’ve been one of the most vocal supporters of an OCS but without the revenues from a p5 conference I don’t know if it’s such a wise investment.  Add 20k seats to Corbett and call it a day.

Interesting, at the end of the OCS discussion, Weatherford asked someone to look into whether Athletics should be structured as a Direct Support Organization, which apparently many other schools' Athletics depts have done.  I just briefly skimmed it but this is an article on DSO's from a few years back when FSU did the same https://www.si.com/college/2019/06/11/florida-state-athletics-department-direct-support-organization
