From JP - Will give them a much better media presence in the market.

Sounds like something for "the Bay" or however we are referring to the regional market.

I think media is crucial to building a brand and fan loyalty. I have always been interested in the business side of sports. I have seen some teams that struggled with the same things we are, rebrand in a major way. A couple ways they re-engage fans is by creating bars/pubs that are team themed with players routinely “dropping in” for meet and greets and giveaways. Another way from a media standpoint is a video diary, where you follow players, coaches through daily routines to feel like you get to know them better. I also think it is really important to have positive beat writes for students and Bay Area fans to get consistent news about the teams (not just the times article once a week). Fans need to feel connected and excited, even during tough times.

Newspaper:  on deathbed
Radio: perhaps, for a radio guy to mention, likely? But who listens?
TV:  Could be some local airtime.  
Cable:  Video Bulls Unlimited
Billboard:  Needed
Internet: ?

A media presence to me means the "local media" provide you time and space, or at least sell it to you.  More imagery, more views, more interest.  A lot of excitement this time of year and JP just added to that.  

We need to get the community more involved, a greater media presence is a part of that, has been for 23 seasons.

Funny you say that.  As a matter of fact, to be funny, I was going to suggest that after my original list. 

And then I went on to say how I tried to do that over the Outback Bowl.  I wanted to get our Bulls name some time in the air over that god forsaken event in our town.  Reached out to a Tampa Bay company, but did not hear back.
