We’ll also continue to raise funds and support our student-athletes by providing NIL opportunities.  More to come.

I signed up right away. Not the highest amount but I do hope it helps. I'm struggling right now with the messaging around all the priorities.

The annual fund is all that counts for the Bulls Club now, and if you ask Athletics they say that's their priority. At least that's what they tell me.

Then you have other priorities like the stadium, stampede for women etc. Anyone can give to these but they don't count towards Bulls Club membership, and as far as has been explained to me really nothing happens til you get to Golden Brahman Society, which is 25k over 5 yrs.

Then now there's this. It's pretty simple and straight forward but it's still this third bucket of funding.

Oh and then there's tickets...

I'm happy to give to the first 3 (out of towner so no tix) but I think USF needs to recognize what this looks like from my/donors perspective, and think about how they want to message priorities and impact.

If I had say 1000 to give, I used to be able to give anywhere and get Bulls Club credit. Now, I have to give all 1k to the annual fund to get BC credit. OR give to the stadium but that's no credit for anything, OR now NIL. I can divide but that dilutes the impact to all 3.

Confusing. Any input is welcome.

Understand your questions. I’m also an out of towner, now retired with three season tickets that now due to distance do not use as often. I’m also planning on donating to stadium fund, donated here to NIL, will also sign up to this But as you said it’s money in different buckets.

You know what’s interesting to me is that as much as I follow USF, I know nothing about bulls club. @John Lewis is there anyway I can get pointed into the direction of supporting USF again? We get the hey become a season ticket holder email/call, but what else. I’m not blaming anyone about this, I’ve never been given insights or even pointed to crap.

This doesn't even include the USF Alumni Association fundraising efforts ... or the University's general efforts to raise funds for the endowment.

Let's not forget Fowler Avenue Collective is not only technically independent -- it is legally required to be that way by Florida law.

Yes, it can be confusing for so many USF-related entities to ask a currently-limited pool of people for funds.  That well can only be tapped so often, and USF failed to expand that well over the years.

Here is the website -- it may be a bit out of date in some places (referencing 2021-2022).

I'm strictly guessing that when you responded no to season tickets, the assumption was you're not interested in giving at all so it goes no further ...... but I think there are some on here that don't have tickets but still donate so there must have been some communication somewhere to spur that. Will be interesting to see what John says the process is.

Which is interesting because it is being said "UF, FSU and UCF did it", when it fact the schools did nothing.  Just like raising the $3000 here for NIL, the school did not condone, disapprove, organize or direct.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
