I imagine he would have a better chance at starting here but man it would be quite a transitional shock for him.  Then again, getting beat up in SEC play could be a shock too.

He may get beat up in the AAC too, depending on how our o-line plays. That being said, I want any good to great player to come here and help this team win.

2. I'm all for it. This staff needs to be going all out for a bowl game this year. Results on the field + a brand new IPF + an OCS for their senior year would do wonders for recruiting.

True - now would be a fantastic time to start winning.

Well, we know how he looks in Green.    It is all a crap shoot anyway.

Hard to see this happening. We've got nothing to offer him.

I disagree. Easy path to starter job, ability to pad stats against inferior defenses (vs. SEC), still enough press. Starting QB at Mizzou will be an extremely difficult job next year given the competition. Job here will be challenging for other reasons, but hard to paper over the difference in level of defensive skill.

It's often easier for the second-tier of QB prospects to come from schools in divisions where defense is not priority 1 (i.e. SEC), where they have the ability to pad stats and make a bigger impact. Draft results bear that out, and if that's his goal...

live in Tampa vs Mizzou

These fans are desperate. Win 6 games and people will love you. Win a conference championship the next year (2 years eligibility) and there will be some huge poster immortalizing you at the new OCS.
