Finished the game 2/27 and lost by 12. That’s the problem with a team that lives and dies by the 3. You tend to die more often than live.

Not their day. They have a good inside game but even there they missed easy ones. Tulane wanted this game way more.

Not sure why more bench players didn't get minutes. Jose must have assumed EVENTUALLY his sharpshooters would start making some shots? Not sure you can gameplan for all of your guards going cold in the same game. The inside game actually was very good today.

Here's the problem. We don't really have sharpshooters. We have 3 kids that get hot at times but aren't consistent from the 3 point arc.  Their confidence is in the crapper.  I would guess only 18 or so of their shots had any chance to go in. The rest were air balls or hit the outside of the rim.  Not sure where we go from here. UCF will beat us by 20 if we play like this again. We narrowed it to 5 a couple of times and couldn't make the next shot.

So many did not even hit the rim today.  If we would have made of 30% beyond the arc, the game would have been well in hand.  It was pretty unreal.  And in the first half we also could not buy a layup or simple put back.

Agree - UCF will make it a long day next Sunday if we don’t shoot better than 7% from the 3 point line. CJF did say in the pre-game talk that this week (next three games) will determine the season. Not trying to be a Negative Nelly, but we’re NIT bound if the next 2 games are like today. 
 

#14 from Tulane was very obnoxious and arrogant today. Hope that the team plays and beats them in the tournament just to take her down a notch. At least our school’s mascot isn’t water…
