Yeah there were more than a few of their fans going full nuclear on recruits…real slime ball stuff.

All that would do would be to solidify my feeling I made the right decision. Weird behavior.

Seems too many people on twitter are drunk and angry.

He also plays the same position as Sanders, so who better to get him to be primetime?

im not on the twatter but i am happy to hear USF fans are representing the school well

even if you want to be dbag online, I would recommend going the classy dbag route at least and take the condescending high road

maybe i will join the twatter soon, it seems like it's where lots of usf stuff happens.

He will be playing against a subprime group of players (pun intended).  I have no issue with him getting paid though, good for him.

I do not follow recruiting as closely as a lot of you all.  I had only known about what was going on from the posts on here and an alert from CBS Sports HQ about Sanders and Jackson St. landing the top recruit. So when I saw the original post, I kind of chuckled and thought that he must not read anything on this site.

I had figured UCF would be benefitting from the Big 12 invite and had no idea what their fans were up to.  I could try and amuse by saying the miscreant fans' behaviour is to be expected and not a surprise.  Reality though shows how shocking some can be when they live vicariously through a football team. I think we can be disappointed when we lose a potential difference maker but I have never held it against any young man making life changing, future influencing  decisons.

I think most know I have nothing but contempt for some of our fans who aren't around much but come running out of the woodwork to sing the praises of the miscreants to the east when they accomplish something or something goes well for them.  The lamenting about how we are not like them is insulting. I would not be happy if I found some of our fans trying to intimidate 17 and 18 year old athletes.

ucf had a tremendous signing day especially at RB. At the end of the day this type of nonsense probably makes no difference…it’s the social media world we live in today. People just shrug their shoulders and move on.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
