The wife and I really have fun at the games.  The ladies play hard and I love the way they cheer each other throughout the game.

From what I have seen of the WBB crowed it is usually an older fan base (retired?) with a smattering of young girls. I know the final fours you can here adolescents screaming in the background. Uconn has an especially older fan base. The sport, from what I have seen, has not reached the younger male demographic and generally the 18-35 year old demographic. Of course there are always exceptions.
