I never understood why we had more than 4 QBs... even 4 is a stretch.

At one point we had 7.

BULLieve only the 4 were scholarship. We needed 4 because we didn't have a QB ... we needed bodies.

Looking at the stats from 2019, it's a shame he couldn't get going here.  It would have been great to have him or Cade playing this year and give Timmy a year to develop.  The indian burial mound curse rears it's ugly head, neither develop and here we are....

No better way to develop them playing, I am glad it worked out the way it did.

He bailed from Miami because D. King came in and got his spot. Poss? he came to USF thinking he was going to be the guy? We have 3 QB's plus 2 others in the wings so prob it is a good move for him to move on and find a starting job somewhere. It will be interesting to see if Fortin stays on after the season. Good to see him play-finally but, he was limited in what he could do more so than Marsh's play calls.

Fortin hasn't showed much but Timmy has struggled lately. Timmy played great last night.

We need to have a backup that can win games.

That might be a stretch. He played well.

When playing a team that gives up 421 yards rushing in a game-- the last thing you should be worried about is your passing game. Temple never solved our rushing game and we hammered it-- for the most part--- all the way to the end. There were a few points where I felt like Weiss Jr was trying to out think himself with jumping off the running game inexplicably but thankfully he did not pursue it too far. One thing that our offensive coaches have consistently done in the past is changing things up that were working and finding themselves grinding to a halt. It baffles plenty of fans who see this happen and it has happened not just recently-- BUT DECADES long issue that crops up. Sort of of like the way we tend to have trouble defending 3rd and really long (again-- dating back to the early 2000 teams).

It may be boring-- but if you are running it down their throats, please keep on it!
