If FSU/Clemson leave, the ACC loses all of it's CFP "credits" I believe.

Shouldn't it go to the AAC as that's where they were at the time? But, yes as this is the protocol, it would be valuable for us to add to our resume and candidacy.

But on the flipside I can see USF upcoming CFP going towards the ACC when all is said & done.

Those % remain until the three year look in period, so how the ACC does during that tie and any teams they lose or add would determine that. Now of on the next three years those two are still there and gather all the ACC slots, then yes that would hurt. So it may be good for ACC to come to a deal have them exit, so the ACC slots in those three years are accumulated by those remaining. I think an agreement on exit fees will eventually come to term for both sides, but not before February 2025 or earlier if ESPN agrees on extending deal. Don’t think there is any settlement until ESPN moves on that.

If true, I’m sure the administration at Baylor knew nothing about this. It’s not like there’s a history of the administration suppressing bad acts of athletes at anytime in their history, and certainly nothing in recent memory. Our school colors are pretty similar. Maybe the B12 would just give us their spot. Edited May 18 by aroth
