It saddens/scares me to realize that this has been the case for over a decade and yet we may be in a worse position now than we were back then.

Anyone know if other AAC fan message boards have a realignment thread like this one? It'd be interesting to see what our conference mates are saying about their chances to move up.

SMU does. They're accepting the situation now but were pretty entitled thinking they deserved a spot purely due to history.

Arizona is in deep discussions about joining the Big 12...

ESPN has the story. Corroborating other reporting that Oregon/was are probably looking at a partial payout and there's resistance from some of the mid/lower tier schools as it's increased travel for them too. But oregon/was are facing either 20ish mil or 35-40m. 

As the article says... all eyes on ASU and Utah. Will the remaining 8 in the Pac 12 band together and say enough is enough? Or will the leave, precipitating OU and Was to bolt, and leave a Pac/MWC merger in its wake?
