Yes, I am onboard with the ACC (even after they lose their top members). It would be a nice step up for us.

Could actually compete too. USF in a conference with schools like Pitt, Syracuse, Louisville, GT, Virginia, etc is honestly perfect, especially if we throw in an OOC rivalry week with Big 12 UCF.

The perfect balance of opponents where we can be successful, yet the brands are still big enough to be relevant. The past few years have made me realize how much I DONT want to be a Vanderbilt in a super conference. Would rather average 8-9 wins in a B level conference than 2-4 wins in a A level conference.

There is upside if they stay a power conference.  I too, want to go to the ACC.  But would the Pac 12 be a good interim stop, while we wait on teams to leave the ACC, so we can get an invite, or should we just bide our time in the AAC.  I feel like we can probably get into the Pac 12, if we made a pitch.  Granted, teams could leave the Pac 12 at any time.

I would LOVE USF in the ACC. You never know what the future holds, I wouldn’t decline an invite to the B12, but the PAC12, I would hesitate, would have to see what the money looks like. My point is we don’t know if we would ever get an invite to the ACC, so to turn down P5 money because “maybe” we will get invited would be risky. I think there maybe a little more movement in expansion, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it is not as seismic as we were thinking. It sounds like people around the NCAA and fans together are starting to get frustrated and fed up with it and I could see the resistance stopping the power 2 from doing anything they want. Therefore it would be hove us to get into a P5 ASAP.

I have a hard time trusting any source like this that doesn’t say what their actual source is. The people that are in these meetings are held under NDAs I would have to imagine. There’s been previous talk of a merger but we’ll see how things really play out

I am guessing they would have a champion of the east face the west, but the west kinda sucks in this scenario.

Especially when they're alluding to not including all teams. I guess that could happen but I have a tough time believing they'd try it ...... although in these times, it's dog eat dog.

Yes it is a very cringe time to witness.

Replace the C rivalry with WVU

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
