Ok, Jesus, can’t you say that in one sentence? We should take the Big12 offer even if it’s only 2 teams…better brand name. Not sure if there would be any exit fee dollars as the teams leaving will try and dissolve the conference on their way out.

There is never a good time to go independent, it’s a scary thing to recognize the the comforting confines provided to you by a Leviathan are actually a prison. But sometimes you must bet on yourself and believe you can overcome the odds and become greater than your oppressors. There was never a great time for the lowly colonies to take on the mighty British but they did it anyway and we are all better for it. I’m willing to stake what little is left of our hopes on dying on our feet instead of on our knees because the reward is limitless and even should we try and fail at least it will be more fun to go out in blaze of glory surrounded by better company than to slowly slide into oblivion with those that FBS football has left behind.

Neb said he guessed we should if we have to but that it’s probably not worth it and will have too high of travel costs especially if MWC teams are added. There is no maybe about if teams start jumping ship on your conference you are screwed and never left in salvageable shape if you get left behind. We should already be parked in front of every single B12 President and ADs door trying to be under cutters pizza on getting off this ship because we know first hand that people are leaving and what happens if you aren’t one of them.
