You may be right.....that is somewhere between Croatia and Serbia, correct?

So shall we start wagering on when the announcement of the Tex/OU move to SEC is made?

Ugh…fat fingers strike again. I’ll say a media leak of the move will happen in 10 days or less. Assuming TAMU does not find others to black ball the move.

I said this is the worst we have ever had it and the only way it could ever get worse for us in the realities we have actually been in would be if the B12 starts throwing out invites and we get left in the AAC which would look exactly like current Cusa, assuming they would even be willing to jump over. If the B12 earns us a single dollar more and travel costs actually skyrocket we should take the offer because the AAC will be well on its way from $7 million to $3 million.

Ok, Jesus, can’t you say that in one sentence? We should take the Big12 offer even if it’s only 2 teams…better brand name. Not sure if there would be any exit fee dollars as the teams leaving will try and dissolve the conference on their way out.

Wait, someone actually said we shouldn't take a B12 offer because of travel costs ....?

There is never a good time to go independent, it’s a scary thing to recognize the the comforting confines provided to you by a Leviathan are actually a prison. But sometimes you must bet on yourself and believe you can overcome the odds and become greater than your oppressors. There was never a great time for the lowly colonies to take on the mighty British but they did it anyway and we are all better for it. I’m willing to stake what little is left of our hopes on dying on our feet instead of on our knees because the reward is limitless and even should we try and fail at least it will be more fun to go out in blaze of glory surrounded by better company than to slowly slide into oblivion with those that FBS football has left behind.4E8AE8C2-E050-4D81-B321-7855730F4F2D.jpeg

Neb said he guessed we should if we have to but that it’s probably not worth it and will have too high of travel costs especially if MWC teams are added. There is no maybe about if teams start jumping ship on your conference you are screwed and never left in salvageable shape if you get left behind. We should already be parked in front of every single B12 President and ADs door trying to be under cutters pizza on getting off this ship because we know first hand that people are leaving and what happens if you aren’t one of them.

Why are you talking about conference members who have long gone? Why are you living in the past where the conference members do not exist? Are you saying that you would rather be in CUSA 15 years ago (living in your usual past) or CUSA today (which would have to be a joke).

CUSA "today" is coming to us.  Years of incompetency has led us to this point.  Our administration should be ashamed.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
