I’m actually thinking the big 12 dissolves with wvu going to the acc. If ok st can’t join ou they will either go to the acc or b10 along with tcu and Baylor. The rest either go to the pac12 or join the aac. As far as we are concerned we need to get a president with strong ties to the big10 and find a way into there instead of waiting for the dust to settle and we’re stuck in the pee wees

That could happen…the article from a Baylor reporter I posted earlier believes that is a possibility.

Even if there is three teams left in the historically better conference the historically better conference never dissolves and joins the lower conference, there is no advantage to either side in doing so

Scenarios are fun, but if the ACC wanted WVU, they could have had them.  OK state is not going to the SEC and TCU/Baylor are not going to the Big 10.  Why would the pack 12 take on programs not named Texas or Oklahoma?  None of the left over Big 12 teams will increase the revenue of those other conferences enough to justify a larger split of the financial pie. 

Maybe, just maybe, Kansas to the Big 10 because of their basketball brand.

All ideas are impossible and mocked until someone is brave enough to show it’s possible, we have seen a decade’s worth of what impact the AAC has on our program and fanbase and I doubt staying the course gets us much more than another decade of it. The wages of the AAC is death, even if it’s a slow boil.
