I don't care if they put us in the Alaska division and we have to play Oklahoma ten of the twelve games.  As long as we get a decent $$$ bump over what we are getting now, that and the exposure would be incredible for recruiting.

I would think us and UCF would be in different divisions to ensure more teams a game in FL on a yearly basis.

Why do we have to take UCF with us? How about FAU instead?

They're not fast enough.

I think I recall us playing a lot of MAC teams during our years as a football independent.  Or maybe it just seemed like we played a lot of MAC teams those first few years.

But I really thought we were going to move to the MAC and then got the CUSA offer and went there instead.

UCF was in the MAC, and it was hilarious.

More Memphis Talk radio with Big 12 blogger( and Memphis homer)  C.Austin Cox

http://yourlisten.com/Joshua.Midgett/tbl-9-28-16-c-austin-cox

Highlights:  A network grooming a P4 championship?

AAU (and Memphis) should be in great shape if BIg 12 expansion goes Kapoot with Houston coach leaving.

Taggert will be gone?

Probably because it was hard to get bigger conferences to schedule us. We beat Bowling Green when Urban Meyer was there and they were ranked #25. Still remember being on the sidelines that game. And we also beat Northern Illinois the same year.

Still won't improve their academics. They may need expansion to to be tabled for the next 15-20 years to allow them time to catch up.

No worries, i figured that's what you meant. I still think they get passed over for having piss poor academics regardless. The presidents will decide who's in and I don't think they want to be associated with a school that has really shoddy academics.

Why is anyone talking about Memphis?  They've been eliminated from consideration.  Water off a duck's back.
