Has anyone noticed that ESPN still lists USF and UCF below Temple in the conference standings even though Temple lost. I wonder if ESPN is revealing it's hand? :icon_drink:

And K-State is listed ahead of Texas for the Big XII, despite a loss.  I don't think the standings sort until they get into conference play.  They'll just stay as they were before conference play based on whatever the algorithm was.

It's the opportunity cost of not getting the FL markets.

Yeah.  They already have Houston due to all their Texas teams.  Houston adds a program with upside that just knocked off one of their power teams, but it doesn't add much in market or academics.

I agree, and it was interesting to read the other team assessments. I might argue that they place too much weight on location, but they were very fair in talking about all of our advantages I thought.

I did like the article. I wonder about location though. Why did they take WVU if they were worried about location? It seems to me that they either want Florida or not.

I don't think the big 12 knows why they took WV

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
