Interesting article. My only comment is that there would have to be a financial incentive for current AAC members to join the MWC. I don't know that there is one. Also, while admittedly very (perhaps most) important, that would not be the only factor - just like the Big XII and other conferences, academics, geography, etc. would also have to fit.
