100 percent these negotiations are happenning because obviously the Big12 is going to want to know as part of their side of negotiations and they've said they want new schools in place asap.  This isn't news at all.

Yeah exactly. Their football team is terrible, but hasn't always been by any means. But their basketball team is very good. That's when basketball will keep you in a p5.

USF would look good in the ACC, IMO. Good rivalry with FSU and UM. Plus a history of beating North Carolina. I am all for it.

Never going to happen. The only possible scenario is the Big 12 gets raided and Iowa State is left in the cold. Big 10, SEC, ACC, PAC 12 aren't going anywhere and they're not kicking schools out either. Kansas will never have to worry about finding a landing spot on basketball alone.
