Has USF ever had a tougher schedule start a season? Serious question.

I can't recall a more difficult one...the timing is terrible. Take a look at next year's schedule its not easy either.

I was trying to see why everyone was complaining about not speeding things up at the end of the half. The book said it's because they don't know much about football.

Everyone?  or a couple of people wanting them to try and score before the end of the half down 3 TDs?

other than our FAMU cupcake-- this might be the toughest starting schedule to a season I can recall. It is one thing to have a Power 5 type team to start with but 2 and a third ranked team?

Tough.

Any chance JPP talked to them at the half? :)

We all want USF to play well and be competitive (and win)-- the problem is that we are talking about it as if any of us have even the smallest amount of any sort of control or influence to making any of that happening.

We could use a ton more athletics donors. In that regard, we've got some influence in improving our standing in this arms race. We've been near the bottom of the the AAC on that metric since we've been in this conference.

Mangham still running hard.

It doesn’t matter if these teams are ranked or not ranked. SMU is not ranked and they are going to destroy us next Saturday.

Didn't we kind of see this coming when we raided FAU's former coaching staff?
