If his resume was what it is, but he burned out at UConn before going to LA Tech, he’d be a good pick for them. But, his history being what it is... it’s a high risk, high reward signing. If he crashes at UCF, it’s a double-whammy with him being tied to USF. But if he works out, yikes. It just kicks us in the nuts twice as hard. Burned out at UConn before going to LA Tech? He went from UCONN to South Carolina (AHC) to ECU, to USF, to LA Tech. USF was his only HC job with a losing record.

In your Fd up world philosophy, he must be just peachy keen! Eat them apples.

To me a strong UCF should be even a bigger incentive for USF to put more effort in becoming better. but sadly our track record is lots of talk but little action, in that sense they are ahead of us. Until our leadership gets off it’s behind and goes all in on making our programs top level and not just talk a good game it really doesn’t matter who they hire because if they make a mistake they will go all in on correcting it,while we just trot along at our glacial pace. Heupel took a power 5 job over a lackluster season. I don't blame him or White for jumping ship to the big boy stage and making more money. This is the time for us to give the knights the horns put the rivalry where it started and belongs under our foot. The past coaches 3 coaches let them catch up. It is now CJS's chance to show us he is good coach and build a winning program. Put up or shut up.

This eerily sounds like the good ol' demanding of excellence with the ambiguity ...

Willie's last 2 games against them were a cumulative score of 92-34 so not sure how you can include him in that group ...

And how long it took to get anything done. The IPF has been talked about, planned for years, other AAC schools have built theirs ours are still in planning stages. If you look at our history everything moves at a glacial pace compared to other schools.

I would have taken a state of the art IPF over a new baseball stadium any day of the week.

Looking at our baseball results lately I would concur. The baseball stadium needed renovation but once again if we have more than half of IPF money why not break ground. This is a track record with USF everything takes longer than it should. Edited January 30, 2021 by Cubanbull
