I had planned to spend some retirement years watching USF Football/Basketball/Baseball and golfing in the Tampa Bay region.  10 years ago it seemed smart and ideal.  Now, not so much.  If we were to go to FCS as one suggests, I would double up on my golf time.  My "love and admiration" only goes so far.  I wasn't very proud of my school in the way they handled a few loud mouth donors and Jim Leavitt.  In fact it was embarrassing and disconcerting that our leaders at the time couldn't see the damage they would inflict.  A move to FCS would be nearly as empty of thought and reason.  The beast that was USF football is now losing the fight in the bull ring.  But it ain't dead.  Better dig in and bring it back.  Going to FCS only anesthetizes the injured beast until nothing remains.

You started a poll with the same knuckleheaded title as the original one ...... and knuckleheaded is a double edged sword there.

We're several years removed from being ranked in the final AP poll for the first time ever, did it twice .... Contributions more than doubled from 2018 to 2019, $2.7M to $5.2M ..... Ticket sales up, $3.1M to $4.6M. This is a mind numbingly stupid topic at this point in time just because of the way we've started the College Football Season from Hell.

In disagreement with the thought of going FCS, I thought a poll was in order.  I am among the 96% polling against such silliness.
