Just a little more perspective.

We THINK we're doing great with covid, we're not. Only 19 scholarship players on defense this week. Virtually NO practice squad.

I have no idea about the other schools, but it seems like we're piecing together a team each week to go out to the game. I, for one, get all pissed off and embarrassed by how the guys out there play, then find out a bunch of them would NEVER see the field on Saturday under different circumstances. Look at it this way, it's a depth problem, but it's also showing CJS where the recruiting is needed most.

Just wait till next year... again.

If we’re still here in 5 years in the same losing situation rubbing 2 nickels together as an athletic dept with little fan interest, no IPF or football center and the gnats are on their way to the holy land then for me option C would be shut it down, ala, U of Tampa.

The days of the little program that could based out of a trailer and piloted by a Pepsi fueled madman are long gone. We had 20 years to seriously invest in the program and facilities but we haven't made meaningful improvements. What do we have to show for it? A couple trophies featuring the bare ass of the Roman God of Fire. I say pack it in and focus on the sports that will still actually be playing in the coming decades.
