If Fortin was healthy he should have played the entire 2nd half.

His three throws were dreadful but I agree I would have liked to seen more. One thing I was thinking is that he may have lost a lot of practice time when he was out and the coaches were not comfortable with him going out. But who knows?

Evaluation? You should go into every game putting your guys into position to be successful and win. No one plays for evaluation, sounds like a excuse.

He is not playing to lose or just to evaluate

Cincy is better than us ... period

100% agree, but they are in no way a playoff team like some of the talking heads proclaim.

But that is what he is doing. There is little to nothing on this team to win with. Sure we may get three wins but the team is devoid of talent. Better to get many players in for the long term.

He is trying to win ... he just may have a few too many square pegs for the round holes.   There will be a few W's this year and hopefully more in the years to come

Lots of coaches come in and improve things right off the bat, improving for the future and demonstrating improvement do not have to be at odds with one another and the only time people pretend that they are is when there coach is failing.

And lots of ultimately successful coaches don't. Every situation is unique and most don't play out in the first 3 games ....

Honestly, puc, I think this all about you subconsciously not wanting CJS to succeed and cast a shadow on CJL ...... but it's okay if he does. Hopefully there comes a time when we do have more successful coach than Jim but no one will EVER overshadow Jim for what he did for this program.

True I am probably being to strong. He does care about winning but my point is he has the time to make this right for a long term foundation of success.

Irrelevant to our discussion

How is this not relevant to Cincy being overrated?
