I'm surprised at how much of a runaway poll this was.

Especially since McCloud actually threw a nice TD last Saturday.

Oh well, hopefully we don't play musical QBs against ND but we probably will.

I've seen enough of McCloud to know he can't do it. Therefore it should be Johnson to see if he can do it.

We didn't get to see much downfield passing from either, but Johnson has my vote because of 2 plays.  1.  He became the lead blocker on Joiner's run when he reversed field and had a nice run.

I don't mind giving ND different looks and something to think about. They have to game plan for a pocket passer and a dual-threat QB. Remember Johnson's tape from Alcorn State, he can throw the ball (albeit against lesser competition).

Definitely. I like bringing him in on 2nd and 5 or less and then having the opponent have to account for everything that he can do. He and Ford in the backfield together would be a scary combo for opposing defenses. So much speed and well hidden behind the line. I really hope those 3 OL starters can play in this one and give us our best opportunity against ND. We have athletes out there and I have faith/hope that CJS can figure out a way to best utilize their talents.

Unless there is a huge separation between him and McCloud, Johnson should get the start so they each have at least one ...
