Just curious what y’all thought.

However, I see Johnson getting some serious playing time. That's a grown ass man.. fast as **** too

I feel like we didnt see enough passing from him. He threw a bullet to Miller on one though.

He became the lead blocker on Joiner's run when he reversed field and had a nice run. 2. His hustle play to get downfield on Ford's long run. Dude was shot out of a cannon to get there. I have only seen one USF player ever hustle and make a play like that. Mike Jenkins against Penn State looked like that to save a break away TD. Hustle alone has Johnson already at the top of my favorite Bulls on this year's team. Bryce Miller is the best player on the offense. I don't see any player that does his job at a high level consistently from game to game. 1

Only one deep ball was attempted all day. McCloud missed on a deep pass. For those saying McCloud has a noodle arm, it looked like he got the ball downfield 45-50 yards with minimal effort, he just missed. His short passing game looked crisp. He looks a little bigger than last year. Johnson looked to be a little quicker. Showed really nothing passing. Although what little he did throw looked crisp. My vote is for McCloud at this point. I still believe in McCloud. I think a lot of his troubles last year were due to injuries and a terrible offense. Johnson looked decent in his action as well. I wish we took a couple more downfield shots, with either guy. Edited September 13, 2020 by BullsFanInTX

It doesnt feel like we have our superstar QB on this team yet. Regarding the poll. Way too difficult to make based on this first game when the game plan was mostly to run all over them, and the missing players. Slight edge to McCloud. He looks more confident and passes were mostly on target. Did miss the bomb tho. But he showed he can chuck it.
