At least we made the list, how goes the OCS? I'll hang up and listen. http://insider.espn.com/college-football/insider/story/_/id/29268130/college-football-coaching-job-tiers-boise-state-houston-ucf-most-attractive-group-5 Tier 2 jobs: Solid footing with finances, facilities and support; access to good regional recruiting areas; competes often for league championships, regularly makes bowls and occasionally challenges for the New Year's Six; some history of wins against the Power 5 (recent or long term); solid local or regional fan base. South Florida: USF has Tier 1 job potential, especially when it builds an on-campus football facility that will feature an indoor practice facility. The lack of an on-campus stadium is a drawback, but Tampa is a strong area for recruiting, and the team won consistently under Jim Leavitt and had 21 combined wins in 2016 and 2017. Are we even a Tier 2 job based on this criteria?

Amazing in our 25 years of football existence that we/they always refer to our accomplishments as history. I am so-so hopeful that CJS will right this floundering ship and create a WINNER...USF is so-so overdo I'm into the so-so thing today..most be all the exciting news I'm watching. Better not get going on that subject

Perception becomes reality. ESPN think less of us because we do not have an OCS. Perception is powerful and is listed as a “drawback”. Recruits read these articles, ADs read these articles. Having the lack of an OCS listed as a drawback is not great.

You know you aren't allowed to invoke the memory of CJL on here, what were you thinking? You lose your mind momentarily?? Just think, if there was a statue of CJL on campus it would probably be torn down... :=}

All the Youth of Today can do is tear things down, they seem incapable of building anything, thus the new dark age.
