Almost all coaches give the incumbent a hard look. Scott May also pull a Houston and redshirt everyone his first year. But I suspect you are correct relative to quality.

Is he really that good though?  Im not saying your wrong, I just havent seen enough of him.  Seems if he is that great he would have already transferred when Trevor came along.

You make a good point. If he was going to transfer it should have been last spring. My guess is that he is waiting on Lawrence to declare for the draft this year.  From what I have read he loves Clemson.

Everybody there seems to love it.  It must really be that true family environment that everybody talks about.
