I guess I could have been clearer.  The post was referring to bringing back a coach in response to Rutgers doing so.  I guess I should have specified that I was not referring to a specific amount of money that we should or could offer.

Was NOT challenging you. Simply making a statement.

VPMK said we're in the top half on the pay scale. Top is Houston at $3.7 middle is UCF at $2.3, bottom is ECU at $1.425. So, my guess is somewhere in the $2.1 - $2.4 range.
