If we were to bring Jim back as the HC, I think the old and the newer fan-base would react similarly to this scene from Parks and Rec.

Yup and I think that will be the only thing that will make the ghost 👻 go away. Maybe if the next coach wins championships, we all will forget about the ghost from Christmas pass.
