The first day you were introduced as the coach you said you wanted to slow down the offense....

Well congratulations.  After 3 years of slowing things down, I think it's safe to say you couldn't go any slower at this point.

You've peaked.  Might as well quit while you're ahead.

Well it's true we did slow down the offense.

Strong could find a way to make it even slower

6 games of 10 points or less.

Can't figure out why most games when we have the ball late in the game we let 20 seconds or more run off the clock before snapping the ball when most teams are snapping it in that situation after 10 to 12 seconds.  No sense of urgency.  The do indeed slow it down.

Charlie has nothing to do with the offense. He did hire Bell, but from my understanding, Bell has complete control over that side of the ball.

But what I’m hearing is that CCS’s recruits can’t do Bell’s system. So there is the struggle

Is a 10 minute 4th quarter drive when down 27 points slow enough for you?

At least it resulted in all of those points

Don't forget when we were down two scores to Temple with under 2 mins to go.  The drive was so slow and so poorly executed the commentators literally made fun of the coaches and asked what the hell was going on.

Charlie walked into a program that had a 30+ streak that the nation envied and publicly said he was going to neuter it.

Instead of realizing he was inheriting a program ready to catapult him, he couldn’t put his ego aside enough to let him benefit from this.

3 years later, his finger prints are all over this team. Im a season ticket holder, but I won’t attend a single game if he’s back next year. Not because I don’t support every student athlete that dons the green & gold, but because I don’t support a HC that’s dumb enough to neuter a team because his ego is too big to understand that maybe something that he doesn’t agree with works.

“This offense is too fast” as we beat an SEC team

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
