I do not disagree with CCS in that it wouldn't have made a difference. Based on everything we had seen up to that point, they were not going to drive the field, score, get an onside kick and drive the field and score again. 

That said it is a bad message to the team and it makes you appear incompetent on national television. 

It will be interesting to follow if this narrative of incompetence gets louder in the weeks ahead.

Realistically we were not going to win as you said. But it was a 2 score game and theoretically possible so you burn those timeouts. You lose nothing by using them and show you are still trying at least.

The problems with the team go beyond players, assistant coaches and what plays get called.  There is a cultural rot inside this program that has been allowed to fester under Chuckles.  Just look at the energy on the sidelines and the body language of the players.
