If we don’t want to put any focus on athletics and just want to continue our focus on academics I understand that strategy and it seems to have been successful but just be honest and dump athletics (at least Football). Our current investment has proven its results and half attempting to have a football program is just a waste of time money and effort that we would be better off doing anything with, including just setting it on fire.

I didn't say I want to but athletics before academics. I mean't if we want to compete if football in football the school needs to spend money and find money to support the team. CCS is doing the opposite for them on his own.

To be clear I support more $ toward athletics but I don’t want our great university to become Boise State either...

Touche’ but also like hell we have people and that’s all that really matters potatoes may have eyes but they can’t watch programming. I will leave the giving away mansions to tens of people in a climate controlled place to G-d and I will sell water to the billions dying of thirst.
