Pffft. No way!

People forget how big the club areas are. During day games the club areas are packed with people who don’t want to be in the sun. It felt like there were way more people in the stands at the end of the game than there were in the 2nd quarter when the sun was still blazing. I’d say 35k seems accurate

That's what it said on ESPN.  It was a good crowd and they were into the game.

The view of seats was disappointing, but the crowd made dome good TV noise.

Lots of folks just hang in the A/C. They paid for it and have the right to be in there all game but that’s really what ruins the college atmosphere in a pro stadium. Seriously think that accounts for more than a thousand red and pewter seats on the west side at most games. Just my opinion.

I agree with you. I have noticed a lot more fans are now showing up for the games than what has been before. The shaded side of the stadium was packed yesterday. The sun side of the stadium looked empty until the sun set them it had more fans back in their seats. Wish RJS would renovate that side and put a overhang shade on that side. The Bucs have the same problem with the 1pm kickoffs as the side is usually empty due to the sun.

I think USF beats ECU, Memphis, Temple, and the UCF game is a toss up. Hopefully USF already has 6 wins before the War on I4

That's might thought as well...if team continues to improve.

According to FPI, here are our odds on winning our remaining games:

  • at Navy (21.4%)
  • at East Carolina (62.5%)
  • Temple (46.2%)
  • Cincinnati (18.9%)
  • Memphis (25.5%)
  • at UCF (6.4%)

I still see 6 wins as a stretch especially without any passing game.

From what I have seen, that is an understatement.  I guess stranger things have happened but I don't think we could get to 6 wins if 2 of the remaining games were forfeits.

To paraphrase the semi-great Jim Mora:

Bowl Games? Don't talk about—bowl games?! You kidding me? Bowl games?! I just hope we can win a game! Another game!
