Just because this coaching staff in incapable of recruiting a better QB doesn't mean that the analysis is off or that shouldn't be the goal.

I know you're butt hurt because the football program isn't achieving your lofty expectations but join everyone else in reality.

You know nothing ... Especially about me.  And you're clearly confusing my post that was reality-checking YOU from your fantasy-land wishing and hoping, pie-in-the-sky "we need to" BS.  You can't fire the coach, AD AND get a better QB all at the same time.

Danny Wuerfel and Tim Tebow on line 1 for anyone claiming you can't be a successful college quarterback with questionable arm strength.

And the dude is a RF with what 3 games under his belt

He's young, has a lot of football ahead of him, and flashes some good traits. I don't know if he's the answer but at times he looks like it.

And that's really about all you can ask for at this point

Can’t believe there is even a debate about McCloud... he is very good and could be better than that in a year.

It's the "I can't" that are ruining this country. The "I can's" get things done.

No, it's the b*****y, whiney, and always complaining that are ruining this country .....

He is very good against FCS schools and historically bad FBS schools. Let' see what he does against the rest of our schedule which is loaded with some pretty good defensive teams.

True, but looking at his mechanics, style, and running ability I would say the prospectus is good. Time will tell of course and he could flame out but let’s see what happens Saturday and if he learns from his mistakes.

I like his moxie on 3rd downs - he rarely appears rattles, but the arm strength is below average and limits his upside.

Agree on the arm strength but this something that can improve “some” with work. He needs to play within his skill set for sure. That’s a part of the maturation process.
