This storm appears to be slowing down and could effect our practice for the Tech game.  Hopefully they have plans to move practice if that happens.  We’ll have to wait and see.

Things are so uncertain... the ABC news 4:00pm just showed one model (EURO) that has the storm slowing way down, coming through the Bahamas to Miami and then turning north on TUESDAY, getting up to Jacksonville a week from today (next Thursday).

We all just need some patience on this one... it's just all over the place.

Euro is generally the most reliable model, but the one I would trust the most is UKMET, which was the first to show Irma sinking into Cuba and going to the west coast, and did a great job on Matthew, which most models showed missing Florida wide right with 3 days to go.

UKMET has it going directly over Tampa now.

We need to move hurricane season away from football season and into something that doesn't matter like baseball season.

I hate watching all of these models and worrying where it goes, one of the reasons I fled the state after the active 2004 and 2005 seasons.  I ended up moving to a state with hail and tornadoes, at least I don’t have to sit there and agonize over the path.  Good luck everyone, I hope this thing fizzles out.

We need to get Vince McMahon to see if spring hurricane season works.

If that doesn't work we can always try nuking them.

My hope is that it hits Orlando and knocks down that chain link excuse for a stadium.
