I don't think its been confirmed by the school yet but I've heard Auggie Sanchez is back on campus and with the Football Program. Sounds like things were different with Coach T in Tally. Either way - a good get from a leadership perspective and someone the guys have played with (well, a decent amount of them). 

I wonder if there are any other former players looking to come back??

This is good. When Taggart gets fired and ends up back here next year he'll have one familiar coach.

I think all of us want this to be true, great dude, great player, big heart and we all believe would translate into a great coach and mentor, this is the way you build a program.

I've learned from it from a very reliable individual... He started with the team this week it sounds like. Very good thing for us and hopefully he can help us get that 'grit' back defensively. Need to be tough up front the first couple weeks.

Auggie was destined to take his ability, knowledge, heart and personality and go into coaching. Hope this info is accurate. His being part of this program could only be a good thing for USF and its players. Go Auggie.      They just need to let him go fish periodically......

Didn't he say he wanted to be the first former player to become head coach? Auggie bleeds green and gold. Big fan of this move if true.
