Great question. I noticed this too. Maybe coach is just trying to see how X would play as a starting freshman. Q was off today so this could have thrown off some. If you believe in the Oviedo Law, that makes us a top 25 team. Not my intention-- just pointing out that this team has beaten another team that is relatively decent-- and that a ranked team took a loss to them, something that we could have also done. Basically-- the win is not bad all things considered. Bets a loss and even though most of us thought we could throttle this team-- getting it done at the end is really what matters in our last non-conference match up. Bigger issue than this, or Collins, is how - with our personnel - do we struggle so bad with a 2-3? AAU teams struggle because it takes away the paint. Not hard to beat a a 2-3. But you can’t do it with you m2m set.

It isn't a criticism, it's an observation and an accurate one. He has definitely struggled 3 out of the last 4 games, nobody's arguing he hasn't .... and that IS a criticism ... and an accurate one. Promising part of that is that the awesome run to start the game was triggered by 2 true sophomores, a redshirt freshman and 2 true freshmen ... Seriously. I'm trying to think of a game this year where he hasn't been the best guy on the floor. He was a hair away from a double double in the first half, but he got jobbed on a shot clock violation rebound. Actually, that would have given him 9 in the half, but you get the point. I think it's like the guys on the post game were saying, his beastiness is almost expected on a game to game basis and taken for granted .... kinda like the abysmal ft shooting is now taken for granted.
