In game: Bulls vs. Fairleigh Dickinson

Feels a little like football. A hollow win and tougher competition looming. Thankfully, the expectations are different. Time to show we can compete in the league and get us 6 or 7 wins.

Rideau needs to learn how to stay in the game and stop making dumb fouls.  The team is not the same with Castaneda running the point for long stretches.  He needs more experience

FDU was not a terrible team and we played poor but still won. We would have lost this game last year by double didgets. On to conference play!

This is definitely true.  Rideau just plays out of control

Some of that can be contributed to our D. We played much better than Umass did against them. Three shutdowns on their last three possessions. We shut it down when we needed to.

 How Can you be this bad at shooting foul shots. I don’t know how CG fixes it but he has to.if this team can just increase their Free throw % to upper 60s they’ll win eight or nine more games and make it to the NIT.  This team is better in every other aspect.

There's no doubt it's going to cost them games in conference play if they can't fix it. Unfortunately, I think we are what we are.

We held them 21 points under their scoring average. We've been pretty good defensively all season, but 3 point shooting is a clear up and down situation. 

This game isn't in question with a minute to go with 70% free throw shooting. Don't like it but this is who we are right now. Uconn will use the exact same game plan on Wednesday, they have a really deep line up. Their back ups will be hacking all game.
