I would be hard pressed to come up with an event I would find less exciting than an AAC championship game, however when we get out of this ******** there will be plenty of reason for celebration (until that time I like to pretend we aren’t in it).

What if the riddle for USF solve is to win a conference title?

I’m willing to bet that it’s not. I do not think anyone involved in decision making levels of expansion has any idea about who has ever won the AAC.

I think they call us by something behind closed doors but it shouldn’t be repeated here in polite company.

If we don't win the conference but go 11-1 next year and beat Wisconsin, GT, and BYU will go further in the eyes of the polls then the AAC championship.

I wonder how close we'd get considering how close the Kanigits got with that crap schedule ...... probably severely hinge on how those 3 P5's did outside of our game.

Wisconsin has to be better than they were last year. GT may be worse than last year. BYU? Well this ain’t the 1980s so they won’t help much.

2022 is our best chance to crash the CFP. If we go undefeated that year we may have a strong enough sos to get in

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
