UCF getting 'close' to CFP is good for AAC and USF

Except the tv contracts have nothing to do with NY6 bowls as they all have their own tv contracts. The bubble on college sports packages is bursting not booming there is not even the slightest chance that ESPN is offering much more for our TV contract because they don’t have to,; how many people are clamoring to watch AAC games that their teams aren’t playing in?

The NY6 bid brings in more money for the conference. Which gets divvied and means more money for USF. It also helps AAC perception. If we're going to be in a turd conference we might as well be in the shiniest one. The AAC got taken to the woodshed in the last round of tv negotiations and by all accounts is set for a hefty bump (even with the current tv landscape.) 

Even if it isn't USF it still benefits us (albeiIt on a much smaller scale) for the AAC to keep the NY6 bid in house. It could be Tulsa, ECU, SMU, or Tulane and still have the same impact. Unfortunately it just happens to be the team to the east.

If someone wants to argue that them winning one game one time because we in this one instance could get an extra $500k or so I can somewhat understand that argument although I believe their insane winning streak and constant publicity is costing us far more than $500k. However if anyone thinks they specifically should be winning all of their games every year in order to be a leviathan that strengthens the conference they are insane and cheering for their growth at the expense of our destruction.
