For me it's  that I see the other top teams in the AAC handily destroying the teams we are just barely beating in the 4th quarter. Particularly UCF and UH.

In other words, we are a shade better than teams that are ranked #100 or below. I wouldn't say I'm pissed about it, but it's concerning.

I agree with this!! It doesn't upset me that UCF has passed us because they have a culture of foul play as a university and athletics programs. It's the likes of Houston, Temple and Navy of 2 seasons ago that bother me because that should be us.

Yes. I’m pissed they came into the BE and won it their first year.   I’m pissed they won last year.  We have had 10x the opportunities and have come away with spit except for some lower tier bowl trophies.  I want to win a conference championship before I die.

To be accurate, UCF never won the BE, Syracuse, Pitt, WVU, Louisville and Rutgers were all gone by then. We were already the American when they joined. Your point is well taken tho.

Started there football program in 1979.  They had an advantage.

It’s a big part of it for me.  They used to be an after thought and now we’re chasing them.  Last year was supposed to be our year but we couldn’t get it done.

Sports is cyclical...we will get there...just hope its not 80 Red Sox years so I'll be around to see it.
