I wonder if a team such as a, oh let's say Texas, if they struggled with a lowly team such as, oh let's say, a Tulsa, at home nonetheless.   If they struggled, I wonder if media talking heads would bash them and if it stopped them from being in the top 10.  I just wonder if that would be the case.

I've seen ESPN hyping Memphis and UCF.  Methinks we'll get a little love leading up to the thanksgiving game for ratings sake.

Yep, and the one of the computers had ucf #1 last year. Same computer has us at what, 15 or something? The computers are not more correct than a block of human voters...

The computers just run a formula created by humans.  However, they apply that formula with zero bias.  No extra points for popular schools, no extra points for ones alma mater, no favoritism.

I you held the human voters to a specific standard, they would produce results similar to the computer polls.  I could give to rats turds about some voter's "feelings".  Rank each team on the same standards each week.

Until that happens you will get voters bending over backwards to slob on Nick Saban's knob  🍆 and find a way to put Alamaba in the 4 game playoffs because the most popular team has to be in the playoffs.

Facts. You know why this country had to enumerate the bill of rights? Because if you don’t expressly lay out the rules in advance of the game it means the haves beat the have nots 100 percent of the time. Not having any expressed criteria is completely intentional and it ends up meaning there is only one requirement and that’s you have to be a P5 school.
