They are trying to out a vote on the ballot to raise tuition by up to $9 per credit hour for a stadium. http://www.usforacle.com/news/view.php/1034690/On-campus-stadium-task-force-looking-int

The video was clearly one sided.

The goal, I believe, was to come up with $100 million to earmark for a stadium. We'll see how the vote goes. Edit: If it passes an OCS will get done sooner rather than later. Divide that by 30 credits and you are at about $2.5 to 3 per credit hour. I'm just getting back from a bourbon dinner so my math and logic may be fuzzy. I beg forgiveness. Raising the Athletics flat fee would probably be more receptive, from $10 to something like $

Students are already required to pay a student athletic fee. Students that want to help fund a stadium should donate as much as they wish, those who do not shouldn’t have to. The stadium should be funded by alumni and others who wish to, not on the backs of students. I just got back from a party featuring some great Oklahoma BBQ and some awesome Kentucky Bourbons. I don’t do math...that’s what CPAs are for.
