Yep paper facts. Enjoy them, soon they'll all be irrelevant.

Team has no emotion and no desire. But has helluva staff ready to curse at the players for their  lack of coaching ability.

where is that bolded point coming from? Did you see or hear something?

and what are you basing the emotional aspect on-- just your take on what you are seeing or something else?

The o-line is the obvious problem. Missing Terrance Horne for the year is going to be a bigger problem, as Antoine isn't quite cutting it to the standards we hold our offense. We also were missing Wilcox, who we will need to be stellar if this offense is going to roll.

Horne did not do much on our offense. He had one catch for a short TD so I don’t get your point here. Horne will certainly be missed on kick off returns.

This makes no sense. The staff has taken the responsibility for the last two games...see CCS press conferences...at NO TIME has he blamed the players. Have they jumped down the players throat during games? Absolutely as it was warranted and that’s what happens in competitive college football.

We had a pretty costly fumble by Antoine who was only playing because Horne is out. He's definitely one of our more explosive players, and he was on track to be a bigger part of the offense as the year wore on

I remember 2-10. It was not fun.

I'll take the w however we can get it.

They were saying that ECU was ranked last in the FBS in 2017 in defense. I was wondering throughout the game, did they become the '85 Bears in the offseason? Seemed like they had us locked down all night, and about 40% of our offense came on two plays...

Keep in mind, ECU had almost a full 2 weeks to prepare for this game because of Florence. They put together a good game plan and kept us in check most of the night. Additionally, I think this ECU team is leaps and bounds better than last years. They beat UNC, who is currently undefeated in ACC play. UNC also beat Pitt this week, who beat GA tech 2 weeks ago.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”
